ABOUT ME

I find value in approaching science from an interdisciplinary perspective, and in communicating the beauty and importance of science and nature through photography, painting, and creative writing. I study landscape-level phenomena related to genetic diversity and ecosystem function in forests and how we use components of the natural world to communicate.

I am currently a Post-Doctoral Fellow working with the USGS National Climate Adaptation Science Center; and I was previously a Post-Doctoral Research Ecologist with Dr. Stephanie Pau at UC Berkeley in the Department of Environmental Science, Policy, and Management.
