ABOUT ME
I find value in approaching science from an interdisciplinary perspective, and in communicating the beauty and importance of science through photography, painting, and creative writing. Currently, I’m studying landscape-level phenomena related to genetic diversity and ecosystem function as I complete my Ph.D at the University of Tennessee. I’m simultaneously pursuing a Master's degree in Journalism and Electronic Media where I explore questions about how we use components of the natural world to communicate emotion.
