29 Tributaries
A tributary is a stream or river that feeds into a larger one that will eventually reach the ocean. Inherent in this definition is the eventual joining together of smaller, less-powerful entities. If viewed at a single point in space, small streams appear independent from one another. Though our feet touch the earth every day, we distance ourselves from what we call nature, and consider ourselves and nature separate entities.
